Bejuba Brings the Buzz to MIPTV
Bejuba! Ent. has just secured the rights to the Lupus Films, PPC and Monumental Productions' 78 x 7 preschool series THE HIVE. The series is slated to begin delivery second quarter next year (2010).
It revolves around Buzzbee and Rubee, two cute little bees who live in The Hive. They're much like any preschoolers only they get to jet around in the sky. The series will be produced in CGI and highlights the fun and adventures that take place in the Hive, and will help open the eyes of preschoolers to the natural world and how it works. The U.K. broadcaster is GMTV who have picked up the series for their popular pre-school block "The Fluffy Club."
David Willing created the series when he was telling his twin sons bedtime stories. Ruth Fielding and Camilla Deakin had been working with Willing on another TV series, THE PINKY AND PERKY SHOW, and all were keen to work together again.
