Vancouver’s Studio B announced the delivery of new BEING IAN episodes to YTV. The horror spoof, “Scream Because I Know What You Did To That Psycho Last Summer,” airs on YTV on Oct. 19, at 6:00 pm ET/PT as part of YTV’s Halloween programming.

BEING IAN is aimed at kids 9-12 and follows the adventures of Ian Kelley, a teen with an incredible imagination, fascination for films and quirky family. BEING IAN mixes slapstick silliness with the wry humor of everyday life and Ian’s far-out, off-the-wall fantasies that regularly turn a typical day at the beach into CASTAWAY and an ordinary camping trip into the BLAIR WITCH PROJECT.

At the helm of this season’s writing and story editing is Vito Viscomi, whose credits include THE HOWARD STERN RADIO SHOW, YAKKITY YAK and MTV’s smash hit VIVA LA BAM. Viscomi has put his irreverent stamp on every one of BEING IAN’s 26 new episodes, including the one-hour special that takes Ian Kelley and his motley family on a summer vacation road trip to Hollywood.

“Viewers of all ages can relate to film fanatic Ian Kelley and his quirky family,” said Bonita Siegel, director, original productions, Corus Children’s Television. “BEING IAN’s slapstick silliness appeals to kids, while parents will appreciate the series’ wry and witty humor. It’s a laugh-out-loud family experience.”
