North Hollywood, CA -- B2FX, Academy Award winner Barney Burman’s Special FX Make-up, Character, and Creature design and production company, has expanded into new creative studio space in North Hollywood’s Arts District.

Presently, B2FX is in production of Make-up FX work for the second season of NBC TV’s hit dramatic series Grimm. B2FX has been involved with the design, creation, and production of all of the creature make-up effects for that series since its third episode. Burman serves as SFX Make-up Designer for Grimm.

Returning to NBC on March 8th, 2013, Grimm is a drama series inspired by the classic Grimm Brothers' Fairy Tales. The series depicts the story of Portland Homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt, who discovers he's descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as Grimms.

B2FX has also just completed providing SFX Make-ups for the independent horror film, Apparitional. Written and directed by Andrew Jones, Apparitional is the story of a group of ghost hunters competing within the world of paranormal TV shows. Their efforts lead them to a haunted prison with a grisly past that proves to be more than they bargained for. Slated for release in Fall 2013, the film stars Jeffrey Johnson, Linara Washington, and Dee Wallace.
