Australian Screen Industry News reports that the Australian federal government just made it easier to qualify for Post, Digital and Visual Effects (PDV) tax incentives. International productions can now access the 15% PDV Offset with a minimum spend of $500,000 on qualifying post, digital and visual effects expenditure instead of the previous $5 million, and the production does not need to be filmed in Australia.

In addition, the federal government removed the 70% minimum spend requirement under the Location Offset for productions budgeted between $15 million and $50 million.
