Adult Swim Announces 'China, IL' Season Two Premiere

China, IL returns for a second season Sunday, September 22 on Adult Swim.

Don’t hit snooze! China, IL, created by Brad Neely, crashes back into your life this September to teach absolutely no wisdom, intelligent anecdotes or beneficial lessons. Study at your own risk. All-new half hour episodes premiere on Sunday, September 22 at 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Adult Swim.

The University of China, IL is the worst college in America. Adult Swim’s animated series China, IL is a reverse Animal House where the teachers are crazy and the students just want to learn. The animated series centers around Steve and Frank Smith, brothers who teach in the History Department, their TA Pony Merks, a lovable idiot named Baby Cakes, as well as a host of students and professors.

In the new season fans can watch as Baby Cakes becomes China, IL’s Robin Hood after The Dean raises tuition to $500,000 a year, Frank desperately attempts to recreate a perfect lecture he’s given, and former President Ronald Reagan returns. In season two, the series has also expanded from its original 15-minute episodes to half hour episodes and is jam-packed with over 50 original songs written and performed by Brad Neely.

China, IL season two stars voice talent including Brad Neely, Greta Gerwig, Hulk Hogan, Brooke Hogan, Jeffrey Tambor, Gary Anthony Williams, Chelsea Peretti, Hannibal Buress, Ryan Flynn, Dave Coulier, Michele Buteau, EG Daily, James Hong, Tommy Blacha, Robert Clotworthy and Jason Walden.

Created by Brad Neely, China, IL is executive produced by Neely and Daniel Weidenfeld, and produced by Titmouse, Inc.
