TELETOON Holds a Carl2 Canadian Idol Event in March

TELETOON springs up its March schedule with its own version of "Canadian Idol;" four brand new kid series; new content for Fridays, with the return of the Spin Cycle and with new episodes to The Detour's TOM GOES TO THE MAYOR; and the launch of Detour's new short, Aardman's ANGRY KID.

Introduced in the winter 2006, the F-Night lineup offers some of the sharpest, and sometimes raunchiest, titles for TELETOON's older viewers. The lineup has now added Aardman's ANGRY KID shorts. Starting Friday, March 16, at 10:45 pm, new episodes of TOM GOES TO THE MAYOR will begin. In addition to Mondays at 10:30 pm, and as of Friday, March 16, THE VENTURE BROS will now also air at 11:00 pm, on Friday nights.

For kids, March springs up the schedule with TELETOON's own version of "Canadian Idol," with four brand new series, and with the return of the Spin Cycle. Viewers select the winner of the CARL2 "Canadian Idol" show when they are presented three possible endings at the conclusion of Part 1, airing Sunday March 11, at 5:00 pm. Voting takes place during the week of March Break, and the results show (Part 2) airs Sunday March 18, at 5:00 pm.

In the Spin Cycle, which airs every Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm, viewers can catch sneak peak of WAYSIDE, MY GYM PARTNER'S A MONKEY, CHOP SOCKY CHOOKS and CHAOTIC on Friday, March 16. On Friday, March 23, Spin Cycle will have the premieres of FOSTER'S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS' "Good Milt Hunting" and LOONATICS UNLEASHED's "Acmegedon." The debut of BRATZ: GENIE MAGIC comes to the Spin Cycle on Friday, March 30.
