(Toronto, ON – April 14) – Lenz Entertainment and Galleon Entertainment are proud to announce the hilarious and irreverent web series, Apollo’s Pad, has been acquired by TELETOON Canada. Eight episodes of this edgy puppet based comedy were produced specifically for television and premiered on Sunday, April 10, 2011 on TELETOON at Night, TELETOON’s post-9 p.m. programming block for older teens and adults hosted by Fred Kennedy. Apollo’s Pad will continue to air on Sunday nights for the next three weeks.
The show was created by Len Dunne and Stephen Green and developed by Jason Hopley. The show is Executive Produced by Jack Lenz and Len Dunne.
“Guided by the creative trails blazed previously by shows like South Park and Family Guy, Apollo’s Pad pushes the boundaries of comedy to its limits,” says Jack Lenz, Executive Producer and President of Lenz Entertainment. “We are thrilled that this property has migrated from web to on air.”

The series is set in Apollo’s Pad, a neighborhood dive owned by its creditors but run by Apollo himself. Apollo is a self-proclaimed God of Disco and an all-around good guy – also self-proclaimed – looking to make a buck and maybe make a little sweet love along the way.
Apollo and his son Ice Flow play host to motley crew of characters including Mickey, a British ex-Rock Icon with a love of expletives and an extensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals; Sno Flake, a white wannabe rapper with a bad-ass attitude; and Angel, a raunchy Cougar on the prowl. It’s a no-holds–barred exploration of the darker side of life as seen through the bottom of a shot glass.
Apollo’s Pad is a joint venture between Canada’s Lenz Entertainment and UK’s Galleon Entertainment. The series was shot entirely in Toronto, Canada.
