Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Go From Sewers to Subway

4Kids Ent. Inc. and Subway Restaurants have joined forces to launch a national promotion featuring the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. The seven-week promotion began Feb. 7, 2005 and continues through March 27, 2005, at participating Subway locations in the U.S. and Canada, while supplies last.

This promotion features a TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES action toy premium with the purchase Subways Kids Pak meals. Each action-oriented Turtles character reflects the Subway chains Eat Fresh. Have Fun. Get Fit motto by encouraging kids to stay active with their favorite playtime characters.

Toys include: Donatellos Kickin Ninja Kite, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dual Disc Launcher, Mikeys Shell Squirter and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Extreme Sports Bottle.

In addition, each of the premiums will include a Watch & Win insert directing kids to watch the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES on 4Kids TV -- 4Kids Entertainments Saturday morning programming block on FOX -- for their chance to win a range of fun-filled merchandise prizes.

The Subway chain will support the promotion with in-store, point-of-purchase signage, as well as the www.subwaykids.com Website.

Subway is well-known for its commitment to conducting promotions with brands that promote important values for kids, said Alfred R. Kahn, chairman/ceo of 4Kids Ent. We are proud that Subway has recognized the values of teamwork, loyalty and friendship that are at the core of the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. In addition, the premiums promote physical activity, another cornerstone of the brand. We are pleased to launch a promotion with Subway and bring these popular characters to their guests.

Were welcoming the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES in thousands of Subway locations across North America, said Brad Saunders, marketing manager for the Subway Franchise Advertising Fund Trust. Kids Pak meal time will be a fun time, too, whenever and wherever these brave Turtle heroes come out to play.
