Toon Boom Launches Symphony Worldwide, Studio for PC
Toon Boom Animation has launched the customer release of Toon Boom Studio v2.5 for PC. In addition, Toon Boom has announced the calendar of launch events for the release of Toon Boom Symphony.
Similar to the Mac 2.5 version, Toon Boom Studio for PC now includes a number of features, including:
* Support for scanning
* Ability to draw in the 3D Sceneplanning space
* Improved sound scrubbing
* Visualization and manipulation of drawings and keyframes in the Timeline.
The v2.5 update sells at $199 for V1 customers and at $99 for V2 customers. For Academic (schools and students) customers, v2.5 update sells at $99 for V1 customers and at $79 for V2 customers.
Toon Boom launch events arrive in Beijing on Dec. 9, 2004. Following the holidays, the tour will continue to London, U.K., on Jan. 10, 2005, Madrid, Spain, on Jan. 17, 2005, Paris, France, on Jan. 19, 2005, Seoul, Korea, and Berlin, Germany on Jan. 20, 2005, finishing in Las Vegas, USA, at NATPE 2005 on Jan. 25, 2005 (Specialty Pavilion, booth 1531).
