Realviz has announced that MatchMover 2.5 Professional is now available. The software is a professional solution used to track 3D camera data and motion from videos and film sequences. With this new version, users can move smoothly back and forth between automatic and manual tracking with no interruption of workflow. Realviz MatchMover 2.5 Professional has added significant features to the existing product, including the ability to create and handle mattes, to merge multiple instances of tracked features, limit the number of tracks and add 3D locators without resolving the shot, as well as now offering new export options to programs such as Discreet's flint, flame and inferno, and Apple's Shake. Realviz MatchMover 2.5 Professional is available for the Windows NT/2000 platform for a suggested price of US$4,999. A Linux version of MatchMover Professional is also slated for release in January 2003.
