Kaydara Inc. announced the release of FiLMBOX 3.2, the latest version of the company's real-time 3D character animation solution. With an enhanced user interface and workflow, FiLMBOX 3.2 introduces new features for both keyframe and motion-capture-based character animation for game, film, TV and Web productions. FiLMBOX 3.2 includes a variety of new character animation and workflow enhancements including new facial mapping and animation tools, flexible visual keyframes allowing users to edit the timing of any animation instantly, enhanced tools, control sets for individual body parts, improved interface on the motion-blending tools, and an optimized Macromedia Flash renderer. FiLMBOX 3.2 is currently available for a base price of US$5,000, and supports Microsoft(R) Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000, Apple OS X, sgi IRIX, and RedHat Linux operating systems.
