At this year’s IBC exhibition and conference, Imagineer announced a partnership with FXhome with the two companies collaborating to bring powerful, planar tracking-based 3D Camera Solve capabilities to the newest product version of HitFilm 2 Ultimate.

As a result of this partnership, HitFilm 2 Ultimate now includes a special licensed version of mocha’s 3D Camera Solver called mocha HitFilm. Also, HitFilm 2 Ultimate and mocha HitFilm will be bundled with Sony Vegas 12 Pro Suite, effectively placing the power of Imagineer’s Planar Tracking technology and mocha’s 3D camera solving technology into the hands of tens of thousands of Sony Vegas editors.

As of today, mocha HitFilm has officially launched and is available. Here’s a video demonstrating the new product:
