Boxx Technologies And Rendering Systems Feature Latest AMD Processor
Digital content creation systems provider BOXX
Technologies is now featuring the AMD Athlon MP processor 2100+ with
QuantiSpeed architecture and Smart MP technology in its 3DBOXX R1
series of workstations and the RenderBOXX R series of rendering
systems. Available in dual processor configurations running Microsoft
Windows 2000 or Linux, the 3DBOXX R series includes enhanced system
architecture and accelerated graphics capabilities, and utilizes the
new NVIDIA Quadro4 XGL graphics adapters with NVIEW multidisplay
technology. The RenderBOXX R1 series of high-speed rendering nodes
are designed to streamline the rendering process for HD, digital
film, video, game development, 3D design and animation. By adding the
AMD Athlon MP processor 2100+ to both the workstation and rendering
system, BOXX strives to provide optimal performance for
computation-intensive software programs such as 3D modeling, CAD,
animation and digital video. BOXX (Booth #19078) will be
demonstrating the 3DBOXX and RenderBOXX R1 series with 3ds max, Maya
and Softimage at SIGGRAPH 2002 in San Antonio, July 23-25, 2002.
