Warner Bros.' HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1 slipped to second with $16.7 million. With vfx from Baseblack, Cinesite, Double Negative, Framestore, Gradient Effects, Industrial Light & Magic, Mova, The Moving Picture Company, Rising Sun Pictures and The Visual Effects Company, the first part of the HARRY POTTER finale has conjured up $244.2 million to date.

Screen Gem's BURLESQUE teased its way up a slot to third with $6.1 million. The campy cabaret flick has total box office receipts of $27 million.

Fox's UNSTOPPABLE also moved up one place to fourth with an additional $6.1 million. With vfx from Asylum VFX, Eye-Spy Prods. and Hirota Paint Industries, the Tony Scott actioner has collected $69 million thus far.

Fox's LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS was prescribed $5.7 million in fifth. The pharma dramedy has earned $22.6 million.

DreamWorks' MEGAMIND plummeted to sixth, making $5.03 million. The villain-turned-hero tale boasts a cume of $136.7 million.

Warner Bros.' DUE DATE placed seventh, bringing in $4.22 million. With visual effects from Method Studios, the road trip comedy has earned $91 million thus far.

CBS Films' FASTER parked in eighth, capturing in another $3.83 million. With vfx from Wildfire Visual Effects, the Rock actioner has brought in a total of $18.1 million.

Relativity Media's THE WARRIOR'S WAY has a weak debut in ninth, earning only $3.05 million.

Lionsgate's THE NEXT THREE DAYS closed out the top ten with $2.65 million. The prison break thriller has a cume of $18.4 million.
