Take-Two Interactive Software,Inc. has formed Gotham Games, a new entertainment software publishinglabel, launched to specifically focus on publishing contentaccessible to consumers of all ages. All of Take-Two's softwareproducts for the PlayStation game console will be published under theGotham brand, along with a selection of upcoming titles to bepublished across multiple platforms. The company has named Take-TwoVP of publishing and business development Jamie Leece to head GothamGames, which will be based in the Take-Two's New York headquarters.Titles now in development which will be published under the GothamGames label include the military action shooter CONFLICT: DESERTSTORM, to be released in fall 2002 across three platforms, andCELEBRITY DEATHMATCH, based on the MTV show, scheduled for a winter2002 release. Gotham Games joins Take-Two's other publishing labelsRockstar Games and Gathering of Developers. Rockstar Games createdproperties such as GRAND THEFT AUTO, MAX PAYNE and SMUGGLER'S RUN,and the Gathering of Developers label develops products for the PCplatform.
