Toronto / Los Angeles / London -- July 14, 2009 -- E1 Entertainment is pleased to announce the addition of Swin Chang as Director of Development for Kids and Animation at E1 Television. Based out of E1's corporate headquarters in Toronto, Chang reports directly to Frank Saperstein, SVP Kids and Animation in the Los Angeles office.
Working directly with agents, talent, producers and broadcasters, Chang will bring in new properties while overseeing E1 Television's current slate of high profile projects in development for the US and Canadian markets. In Chang's previous role as Executive in Charge of Production at Family Channel and Playhouse Disney in Canada, she contributed to live action and animation shows such as Life With Derek, Overruled and The Latest Buzz, making her uniquely suited to the E1 Kids division.
Chang joins the executive team at an exciting time: the fall premiere of the highly anticipated tween series MAJORITY RULES on Teletoon (their first original live action show) as well as the integration of E1 Kids UK into the E1 catalogue, most notably the hit preschool series PEPPA PIG, currently airing on Nick Jr UK.
