Susan Kantor New SVP, Marketing for Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution

Susan Kantor has been named SVP, marketing for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and Telepictures Prods.

In this newly created position, Kantor is responsible for overseeing all of the marketing efforts for WBDTD, as well as manages the affiliate relations and promotions activities of the companys Telepictures-produced first-run series.

Kantor will report directly to Jim Paratore, evp, WBDTD, and work closely with Hilary Estey McLoughlin, evp/gm, Telepictures Prods. and Lisa Gregorian, evp, worldwide marketing, Warner Bros. Television Group.

With her impressive background in all facets of entertainment marketing, Susan is a top caliber marketing executive with extensive brand management background in the broadcast and cable television industry, said Paratore. With so many shows competing for viewers across so many different platforms, properly marketing a television series is more important than ever. Susan has a proven track record and extensive experience in television marketing. I look forward having her on our team.

Kantor joins WBDTD/Telepictures Prods. from Fox, Inc./Twentieth Television where she was svp, marketing & creative, overseeing the marketing of an extensive list of off-net and first-run programming and several series launches. Before that, she was creative director at MTV Networks, where she was responsible for channel branding, program promotion and campaigns for several high-profile special events including, THE CONCERT FOR NEW YORK CITY, DIVAS LAS VEGAS and THE VH1 VIDEO AWARDS.

Prior to that, she held senior marketing posts at USA Networks/Studios USA, Universal Television and Paramount Television.
