Alanda Ltd. announces the addition of Scout, a design and animation company launched by former Superfad NY creative directors Chace Hartman and Brian Drucker.
Scout is led by former Superfad NY Creative Directors Chace Hartman and Brian Drucker, and former Superfad NY Head of Production Whitney Green.
“Brian, Whitney, and I, have a history of working together, and we already have a creative rhythm that is inspiring and that we really enjoy," Hartman said. "We simply couldn’t turn our backs on any of that, so together we formed Scout.”
Hartman is a Creative Director, Designer and Illustrator. He began his career in technical illustration, and soon after began to apply his talents to motion graphics. Now, over 15 years later, his work is guided by process and discovery through experimentation. He strives to create work that is unique to each project, but direct in its message. Chace has worked at multiple design companies on the East and West Coasts including Digital Kitchen, Brand New School, Ebeling Group, MK12, Buck, and most recently, Superfad contributing to commercials, identities, campaigns and show packages for clients such as MTV, Chevrolet, ESPN, Ritz, New York Lottery, American Express, AT&T, Pepsi, Charles Schwab, NBC, and others.
Drucker is a Director and Designer with extensive range of experience. He studied Architecture and Civil Engineering and began his career at Frank Gehry's office in LA. He applied his strong architectural background to a variety of opportunities from set design in film and music videos, to designing spaces and exhibits for Museums and Theater. He then transitioned into 3D animated films and Visual Effects working at companies such as Sony Imageworks, Cinesite, Dreamworks, Nickelodeon and Digital Domain. His architectural experience significanlty influences his design approach to 3D and technical projects. Designing and Creative Directing for multiple companies including Trollback, Psyop, The Ebeling Group, Loyal Kaspar, Freestyle Collective and, most recently Superfad where he worked on projects for Nickelodeon, Hertz, Bulwark, Lean Cuisine, Ritz, Target and HBO.
The studios are located in Soho, NYC, and Venice, CA.
