Summit Entertainment has hired Scott Kosar (THE CRAZIES) to rewrite VLAD, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Actor Charlie Hunnam penned the first draft. The story takes an action spin on the story of the young prince Vlad the Impaler, aka Dracula. Music vid helmer Anthony Mandler will direct.
Plan B's Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner are the producers. Summit's Erik Feig and Meredith Milton and Plan B's Jeremy Kleiner are overseeing.
