In July 2008 Studio100 took over the children's and youth entertainment unit of EM.Sport Media AG (now known as Constantin Medien AG) when it acquired EM.Entertainment and Junior.TV GmbH & Co.KG.

Studio100 Media, based in Munich, will continue to be active as an international production and distribution company within the children's and family entertainment sector. KG succeeded in securing several long-term co-operations with big-name partners, for example the puppet series BIG AND SMALL (52 x 11 minutes), produced by Kindle Entertainment in co-operation with Studio100, BBC, Treehouse TV and 3J's Productions, KERWHIZZ (26 x 22 minutes), a quiz show for pre-school children in conjunction with CBeebies and the BBC's children's channel CBBC has entrusted Studio100 Media with the distribution of their popular games shows THE SLAMMER (15 x 30 minutes), TRAPPED (13 x 13 minutes) and BEAT THE BOSS (22 x 28 minutes).
