Press Release from Studio AKA

LOST AND FOUND has been awarded the 2009 BAFTA for ANIMATION at the British Academy Children's Awards which celebrate excellence in the art forms of the moving image for Children.

Accepting the award (from Mr Johnny Vegas no less) were Producer Sue Goffe & Director Philip Hunt of production company STUDIO AKA who co-financed the film with CONTENDER/E1 Entertainment. This prestigious recognition from the British academy marks the 20th Award that the film has received in the past six months, and is a fantastic achievement for the studio - and most especially the amazing crew - who toiled for 11 months non stop to complete the film.

LOST AND FOUND is a heart-warming story celebrating the value of friendship, based on OLIVER JEFFERS award-winning children's picture book. This unique half-hour animated adaptation features both narration by the great JIM BROADBENT and a beautiful score by composer MAX RICHTER.
