These Halloween favorites aren't too scary but will have you howling with laughter.

- The Simpsons: "Trick or Treehouse" Collection. The Simpsons deal with the dark side of Springfield in these terrific episodes from the animated series. This three-volume set includes the best Halloween episodes like, "Treehouse of Terror" (1992), "Bart Sells His Soul" (1995), "Lisa the Skeptic" (1997), "Black Widower" (1992) and "Cape Fear" (1993).

- Peanuts Holiday Special "The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." In this classic TV special, Linus convinces everyone that the Great Pumpkin will arrive with his bag of toys for all the good children.

- "Mad Mad Mad Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein" is the inspiration for this animated children's Halloween special from the Rankin and Bass team. Dracula, the Wolfman, the Mummy and other monster favorites appear.

- "Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Not as scary as Tim Burton's version, but this Disney animated rendition of Washington Irving's classic ghost story may have you looking over your shoulder.
