Sony UK has acquired the U.K. home entertainment rights to the stop-motion feature, JACKBOOTS ON WHITEHALL, reports Deadline.com. Vertigo Films is releasing the WWII satire on Oct. 8th in theaters.

In this alternative history tale, the Brits need to band together to keep the Nazis from executing a full invasion of England after they take London.

The voice cast includes Ewan McGregor, Rosamund Pike, Tom Wilkinson, Stephen Merchant, Alan Cumming, Richard E Grant, Timothy Spall, Dominic West, Richard Griffiths, Richard O’Brien and Sanjeev Bhaskar.
