Spanning 20 years and two continents, MARY & MAX tells of a pen-pal relationship between two very different people: Mary Dinkle (Collette), a chubby, lonely eight year old living in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia; and Max Horovitz (Hoffman), a severely obese, 44-yearold Jewish man with Asperger’s Syndrome living in the chaos of NYC. It explores a bond that survives much more than the average friendship’s ups-and-downs.

The film is set to hit theaters in the U.K. on Oct. 22. It will be showing at the following cinemas:

Odeon Covent Garden
Bristol Watershed
Manchester Cornerhouse
Sheffield Showroom
Nottingham Broadway
Greenwich Picturehouse
Liverpool Fact
IFI Dublin
