Golden Globes Consider 15 Animated Features

With the addition of an animated feature category to the 67th Golden Globes, 15 films have become eligible for the five final slots, reports VARIETY. The films include 9, ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQUEAKQUEL, BATTLE FOR TERRA, CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS, CORALINE, DISNEY'S A CHRISTMAS CAROL, FANTASTIC MR. FOX, ICE AGE: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS, MARY AND MA, THE MISSING LYNX, MONSTERS VS. ALIENS, PLANET 51, PONYO, THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG and UP. Films need to be at least 70 minutes long and contain no more than 25% live-action. The Globes will announce its nominees on Dec. 15.

I can't believe AstroBoy was passed over in favor of Battle For Terra and Missing Lynx. (echhhh). Hardly great choices.
