BRISTOL, UK -- Aardman Animations has boosted its grass-roots animation brand with a fantastic new Animate It! app which launches in the iTunes App Store for just $2.99.

This simple, easy to use app will have you creating your own stop-motion animations on the go in no time.  Perfect for any budding young animator!

It includes fantastic features and tools to bring your subjects to life, allowing you to edit and watch your animation whilst making it, a time lapse feature and variable frame rates to achieve a smooth animation style. Users can copy, paste and even reverse sequences and edit by deleting and reordering frames.  Within the app there is also an informative help manual and the option to export your animation files in HD so you can share them with family, friends and fellow animators!

The Animate It! team enlisted the help of two animation fans to create a video to demonstrate the simplicity of the software, shot entirely on an iPad using Animate It!

Through Animate It!, Aardman make the highly technical world of an Oscar-winning animation studio accessible to everyone – regardless of skill, experience or talent – nurturing and inspiring a future generation of animators. Animate-It.com is fast-becoming the online destination for all young animators providing hints and tips from Aardman animators and the latest news from behind the scenes of the studios.

Aardman have partnered with Kudlian Software the UK's longest-established and independent publishers of quality educational software for both Primary and Secondary education to create Animate It! which is also available for PC and Mac.
