Stan Lim Joins Troika Design Group as Art Director

Press Release from Troika Design Group

Troika Design Group announced that Stan Lim has joined the strategic branding and design agency as art director, where he'll play an important role guiding creative on projects within Troika's collaborative environment. Lim comes to Troika from Imaginary Forces, where he developed a reputation for artistic rigor, strategic thinking and a fresh design approach -- qualities that will soon be put to use on upcoming work for Troika clients such as ABC and Fox.

"Everyone knows Troika as one of the most established and well-regarded branding agencies in the industry," said Stan Lim, art director, Troika Design Group. "This of course was a huge factor in my joining the team, but what's equally exciting are some new developments taking shape at Troika that I'm thrilled to be a part of."

"Stan brings a fresh new perspective to Troika that will be a huge asset," added Dan Pappalardo, executive creative director, Troika Design Group. "Stan nicely rounds out the team. His background in illustration and his wide breadth of capabilities and styles -- he's worked on everything from film titles to commercials, environmental design and on-air packaging -- means he'll play a key role in the new directions Troika will take."

Lim boasts a wealth of experience in creative leadership for commercial, television and film projects. During a six-year stint as an art director at Imaginary Forces from 2003-2009, he built a portfolio of work that included directing live-action spots for Discovery Channel's DEADLIEST CATCH and working on the film title sequence for CHARLOTTE'S WEB under the mentorship of Karin Fong. Also at Imaginary Forces, Lim art directed Pepsi spots for the "Refresh Everything" campaign via TBWAChiatDay that achieved true pop culture fame -- a spoof by SOUTH PARK.

As a free agent, he's worked at Digital Kitchen and Nokia after getting his start as an intern at RezN8. Lim graduated from the Pasadena Art Center College of Design and attended NYU's College of Arts and Science and NYU's Tisch Film School. An accomplished illustrator, writer and world traveler, Lim has been published in the Huffington Post and is currently co-authoring a book with Keith Ferrazzi, author of NEVER EAT ALONE.
