Millennium Films is eager to get Part II rolling, having hired David Agosto and Ken Kaufman to pen the script.
The original Lionsgate release grossed $275 million worldwide and starred Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Steve Austin. It has been rumored that Bruce Willis and/or Arnold Schwarzenegger, who made cameos in the first film, might take on bigger roles in the sequel.
