SPTI Names Rozanne Englehart New VP, Programming and Research

Rozanne Englehart joins Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) as vp, programming and research. Based at SPTI's headquarters in Culver City, California, she will provide research and analysis of feature film and television programming performance worldwide in support of SPTI's three lines of business: distribution, international production and international networks. This includes designing quantitative and qualitative research and managing a team performing analysis to make strategy recommendations.

"As SPTI continues to grow, the need for an expert to analyze and interpret statistical data in a highly sophisticated fashion has become increasingly a more important part of providing our clients worldwide with extraordinary service," said Kim Hatamiya, SPTI's svp, sales and marketing, to whom she reports. "Rozanne brings her extensive experience in television research to SPTI and we're ecstatic that she has accepted the challenge of leading our expanded research efforts."

Englehart was director of media research for Warner Bros. Television Dist. since 2002. Prior to Warner Bros., she was director, programming and research at KCBS-TV in Los Angeles from 1996 to 2002. From 1987 to 1996, she was director of research at KTLA-TV and was research manager at KCOP-TV from 1986 to 1987, both in Los Angeles. She was also marketing rep for Marketron in Woodland Hills, California, from 1982 to 1986.

She began her career as a Broadcast Media Buyer at Grey Advertising in Los Angeles in 1982.
