Sprint, Cingular & Amp'd To Judge New Mobile Game Competition

Sprint, Cingular and Amp'd Mobile are set to judge the first ever LivePitch OnStage game competition at the Mobile Game Conference. Game developers and publishers are invited enter their new games, demos or concepts to score an opportunity to pitch live onstage before a panel of judges who can actually make a difference in their game's future. Think of it as AMERICAN IDOL for mobile game development.

LivePitch OnStage competition judges include Kris Davis, games product marketing manger, Sprint; Andrew Stein, sr. product manager, Cingular and Paul Nakayama, sr. director, content programming, Amp'd Mobile.

The application process is simple: Send your game concept and as much of a graphical treatment as you've got to LivePitch@GameMobileConference.com prior to the June 30, 2006 deadline. New Games, Game Demos and even Game Concepts are eligible. The Mobile Game Conference advisory board picks the best ideas. On July 13, at the Mobile Game Conference the winning presenters, onstage before the entire conference audience, receives five minutes to convince the VIP judges to fund or distribute their idea.
