Spike Lee is in negotiations to helm the redux of Park Chan-Wook´s OLDBOY, reports Twitch. The story follows a man who is locked up in an apartment for 15 years and once he is released he sets out to find out why and who imprisoned him.
Previously Steven Spielberg and Will Smith were developing the remake.
Mark Protosevich (THOR, I AM LEGEND) penned the script. Mandate is the studio. Doug Davison and Roy Lee are the producers.
