Spidey 2 Bound for DVD on Nov. 30

SPIDER-MAN 2, with vfx designed by John Dykstra and created by Sony Pictures Imageworks, will sling its way onto DVD Nov. 30, 2004, courtesy of Columbia TriStar Home Ent. A double-disc special edition loaded with more than 10 hours of bonus material will retail for $29.96. Bonus features include an exclusive 12-part doc on the making of SPIDER-MAN 2, a multi-angle behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the action-packed sequence on the Pier, director and talent commentaries, bloopers and more.

A movie-only Superbit version, mastered at a higher bit rate, will also be available ($26.96) along with a two-pack of both SPIDERMAN movies ($39.95) and a SPIDER-MAN 2 collectible gift set ($49.95). This will contain a postcard collection of SPIDER-MAN 2 artwork, exclusive limited edition 25-page comic book artists' portfolio, collectible "concept-to-screen comparison" portfolio and a re-print of the Marvel comic book, The Amazing Spider-Man #50, titled SPIDER-MAN NO MORE.
