After long delays, the producers of the stage musical SPIDER-MAN, TURN OFF THE DARK have announced the opening dates, reports VARIETY. Previews will start on Nov. 14 and opening night will be Dec. 21. The production will take place at the Foxwoods Theater.

U2's Bono and the Edge composed the score for the musical, which is being directed by LION KING helmer Julie Taymor. The cast includes Reeve Carney (Spider-Man), Jennifer Damiano (Mary Jane Watson) and Patrick Page (Green Goblin). Evan Rachel Wood and Alan Cumming were set to play the love interest and villain respectively but had to drop out due to the delays.

The cost of the production is estimated at $50 million. The top ticket price will be $140.
