The South by Southwest Film Festival and Conference is now accepting submissions for the 2003 Film Festival. Now in its eleventh year, the internationally recognized conference and film festival highlights the best in new independent film. The early submission deadline is November 15, 2002 (postmark date) with a processing fee of $25 for shorts and $35 for features (nonrefundable). The late submission deadline is December 9, 2002 with a processing fee of $30 for shorts and $40 for features (nonrefundable). Only works completed in 2002, or works that will be completed in early 2003 are eligible for consideration. Shorts must be less than 50 minutes in length. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Narrative Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short, Animated Short, Experimental Short and Music Video.
