Sky's the Limit for HIT's Rainbow Magic

HIT Ent. has announced new publishing partners and a first look at the upcoming television series for its recently acquired girl's property RAINBOW MAGIC. Panini has won the rights for a RAINBOW MAGIC Sticker Album, due for release in Autumn/Winter 2008, and Hachette has been awarded the rights for RAINBOW MAGIC Part Works. In addition, HIT will unveil a 30-second sizzle in 2D animation at Brand Licensing Show.

The highly anticipated television series, slated for broadcast in Autumn/Winter 2009, follows the magical adventures of Kirsty and Rachel as they thwart the attempts by Jack Frost to dominate Fairyland. The TV show is based on the successful series of books by Daisy Meadows that have sold nearly 15 million copies and translated into over 20 languages worldwide.

HIT will shortly be unveiling a new creative look for RAINBOW MAGIC, with the launch of a new logo and style guide to reflect the upcoming television series.

RAINBOW MAGIC is a collection of books and specials published in more than 30 territories worldwide. Meadows is the second-highest-selling children's author in the U.K., surpassed only by JK Rowling.
