Siobhan Kenny New VP, Communications, Walt Disney Television, EMEA

The Disney-ABC Television Group has appointed Siobhan Kenny vp, communications, Walt Disney Television EMEA, for the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) territories. She will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of all corporate and entertainment communication strategies across the EMEA territories, and will play a key role as a senior member of the Walt Disney Television EMEA executive team.

Kenny will be based in London and report to Kevin Brockman, svp, communications, Disney-ABC Television Group, as well as support John Hardie, evp/md, Walt Disney Television, EMEA.

Kenny was director of strategy and communication at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport where she oversaw all aspects of the governments strategy and communication including key projects like the BBC Charter Review and the London Olympic bid.

Prior to this she held a variety of communication positions, most recently at the National Magazine Co., part of the Heart Corporation. Other government roles include five years at No10 Downing Street, first in the Press Office then the Strategic Communications Unit.
