20th Century Fox is urging Web media site Broadcaster.com to remove three Webisodes of THE O.J. SIMPSONS, a parody of O.J. Simpson that uses the design style of FOX's THE SIMPSONS, according THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Broadcaster Inc. is reviewing the requests from FOX, but stated that their fair-use policies allow for parodies.
Broadcaster ceo Martin Wade III was quoted, "We respect the rights of content owners. We are examining all the issues raised by the Fox request. Our goal is to be a respecter of content rights and at the same time find legal ways to bring our community members the content they enjoy."
FOX declined to comment.
The webisodes are titled, "Black and White Christmas," "Warzone" and "If I Did It."
