Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons, has posted “the ugly true story” behind Sunday’s infamous Oscar selfie on Twitter, featuring Homer and Bart getting stepped on by Hollywood A-listers. The original image broke Twitter records Sunday night when it was tweeted over 3.1 million times.

Groening wrote that this one gives a "wider view," this time with an entire Jared Leto (whose luscious, long locks were cut out of the original) and Bradley Cooper pushing Homer Simpson's head out of the snapshot with his foot.

In addition, we get to see the signature look of Groening’s characters made into Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong’o, Nyong'o's brother Junior, Angelina Jolie and Meryl Streep.
