Silver Lake Film Festival 2002

Silver Lake Film Festival 2002

Los Angeles, California USA.

Friday, September 13 - Friday, September 20, 2002.

Entry Deadline: Saturday, June 01, 2002.

The Silver Lake Film Festival (SLFF) is an international, multi-cultural event that reflects the diversity, edgy creativity and historic cinematic roots of the Silver Lake community. SLFF proudly embraces and seeks out the work of alternative filmmakers. Indeed, non-mainstream and experimental film and videofeatures, shorts and documentarieswill again be the festivals focus, though more traditional forms are also welcome. A programming goal is to provide access and venues to films that would not otherwise be available to the public. The festival also strives to showcase the work of filmmakers from the greater Silver Lake area. However, ultimately SLFF believes Silver Lake to be a "state of mind," with that, SLFF is seeking to exhibit and support artistically unique work from any geographical location, as long as it embodies the spirit of Silver Lake. Submissions must be postmarked by June 1st and accompanied by the $20 registration fee and entry form, which is found on the Silver Lake Film Festival Website along with information about the Screenplay Contest and the Festival Trailer Contest. Submission Information: Silver Lake Film Festival, 2658 Griffith Park Blvd. #389, Los Angeles, California 90039. Email: info@silverlakefilmfestival.com; Web Address: www.silverlakefilmfestival.com.
