Sideshow Welcomes Creative Director Kobliska

Fresh off the success of three Promax Awards, leading creative concept, design/effects and production company Sideshow Creative has added creative director Andrew Kobliska to its team. Kobliska will be heading up the west coast creative group based in Los Angeles.

Kobliska's experience encompasses various advertising, marketing and production companies, including executive positions at J. Walter Thompson, GRAVY, and Construct Ent.. Most recently, he was a freelance creative consultant on network launches, film trailers and home entertainment marketing. From 2002 - 2003, Kobliska was the president of the entertainment division at Vagrant Records, managing the company's creative assets, including the representation of Vagrant Records extensive music catalog.

As president of the entertainment division at Illusion Fusion, he worked on projects for Hollywood Stock Exchange, FOX Family and Game Show Network. From 1997-1999, Kobliska was a marketing strategist and exec producer at the now-defunct Pittard Sullivan. He also co-founded the high-end design company SMOG with partner Christopher Wargin in 1996 where he collaborated with networks and agencies alike.

At GRAVY, a concept though completion ad agency, his clientele included UPN, CBS, LA Gear, DayRunner, TCI and Hallmark. Kobliska launched his career in advertising and was the head of broadcast production at J. Walter Thompson/Los Angeles.
