Danish Animation Awards Announced

Friday evening, at the incredible Galla Award Ceremony at the 25th Odense International Film Festival in Denmark, the winners of The Danish Animation Society's Animation Award was announced. The festival takes place in the birth town of world famous Danish fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen.

The winners are:
The Danish Animation Award (Best Animated Film In Competition):
- ANGRY MAN by Anita Killi (Norway) produced by Troll Film (http://www.nfi.no/english/norwegianfilms/show.html?id=1028)
the winner receives a cash prize of EUR 2,000

The Talent Award was nominated to two talents, both winning a first prize:
- TOR FRUERGAARD (Denmark) for his film VENUS, produced at The National Film School of Denmark (http://torfruergaard.com/)
- HELENA FRANK (Sweden/Denmark) for her film HEAVY HEADS, produced at The National Film School of Denmark (http://helenafrank.com/)
both winners receive a cash prize of EUR 1,350

2010 Special Mentions:
