Senior Producer Bennett Lieber Joins Sideshow Creative

New York-based Sideshow Creative has hired senior producer Bennett Lieber. He will produce both commercial editorial, graphics and visual effects and broadcast design projects.

As we continue to grow the business, it is important to provide our clients with the level of production support needed to meet their expectations, remarked Amy Kindred, Sideshow Creative exec producer of Commercials. Having worked with Bennett previously, I feel he brings a lot of expertise and professionalism to our team. Im thrilled to have him on board.

One of the reasons Sideshow was attractive to me was their recent addition of fine artists, as well as their core of talented directors such as Michel Suissa, commented Lieber. I am very excited to work with the team and help in executing top-notch projects.

As senior producer of the Commercial and Broadcast Design divisions, Lieber brings extensive experience in production and visual effects to his new role. Before joining Sideshow, he was CG producer at Charlex collaborating on projects for M&Ms, Cingular and Allegra. He was previously at Rhino.FX as a senior producer, where he oversaw photoreal CG and visual effects for commercials and broadcast productions. In 2003, Lieber served as producer for Nick Digital Labs on THE ALAN BRADY SHOW, a 22-minute CG-animated pilot for TV Land.

A graduate of the State University of New York, Liebers first position was at the now-defunct New York-based ad agency Ayer Inc. During his seven years there, Lieber worked his way up the ranks to assistant producer and then to producer of TV production.

From 1998-2000, Lieber was a freelance vfx and animation producer at R/GA contributing to high-profile campaigns for Kool-Aid, SNL & Clorox. Other freelance positions included vfx producer at Cyclotron and at Blink.fx and its predecessor shop, Image Design. As producer at Micro Interactive, Lieber was responsible for all major video production, graphics, music and sound design for software applications and CD-ROMs, and collaborated with clients such as IBM, MGM Interactive and Intel.

Lieber is also the founder and festival director of The Dancing Goat Short Film Festival. This three-day event featured 42 films and premiered in early October 2004 in South Orange, New Jersey.

A company of filmmakers, designers, artists and problem-solvers, award-winning Sideshow Creative (www.sideshowcreative.com) utilizes its talent and command of high-end visual effects technology to develop strategic and entertaining promotional content.
