Season 3 of 'Pocoyo' Heads to Latin America

Zinkia Entertainment, brand creator and producer of the hit global multiplatform brand, “Pocoyo,” has licensed the third season of the multi-award-winning animated television series, titled “Let’s Go Pocoyo,” to Discovery Kids Latin America for its pan-regional cable platform.

Zinkia Entertainment, brand creator and producer of the hit global multiplatform brand, Pocoyo, has licensed the third season of the multi-award-winning animated television series, titled Let’s Go Pocoyo, to Discovery Kids Latin America for its pan-regional cable platform. Let's Go Pocoyo to begin airing on May 14 with initial premieres in Mexico and Brazil. The popular children’s cable network has also renewed its license for the first two seasons of Pocoyo.

Seasons one and two of Pocoyo follow the adventures of an inquisitive and fun-loving boy as he discovers the world around him, bringing children into his bright and exuberant world packed with color, music and vibrant visual images. Pocoyo represents a universe of core values that promote a philosophy of curiosity, sincerity, tolerance, respect and love.  The ‘parent’ figure is voiced by writer/actor Stephen Fry (Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows, Alice in Wonderland, Bones). 

Let’s Go Pocoyo, season threewhich consists of 52, 7-minute segments, continues to embody the core philosophy of the first two seasons,however, Zinkia Entertainment recognized a need to produce fresh, innovative and relevant content in an effort to appeal to a more media savvy generation of   3–6 year olds. Creating a new format for Let’s Go Pocoyo, Zinkia brings a multi-layered, stylized approach to the series with an overarching music theme.  Continuing to incorporate the “Learning through Laughter” blend of humor and learning which mimics children’s development, the series maintains its ability to inspire and inform children about the world around them. 

Each structured episode of Let’s Go Pocoyo begins with a themed adventure introducing vocabulary, followed by lessons based on various themes, including numbers,colors, shapes, animals, words, etc., and ending with a musical journey that features different styles of original music which recap the lessons learned in that episode.
