SCI FI's Adam Stotsky Upped to EV

Adam Stotsky has been promoted to the role of EVP, Global Brand Strategy and Market Development, the SCI FI Channel has announced. Under Stotsky, SCI FI has become widely regarded as one of the best-branded and best-marketed channels on television and has successfully grown into a top-tier basic cable channel.

In addition to leading the U.S. channel's brand, marketing and creative efforts, Stotsky will work closely with the NBC Universal International division on the creation of the global branding for SCI FI's launch of new local television channels across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Additionally, Stotsky will lead SCI FI's continuing efforts to expand its business portfolio in the U.S. beyond broadcast and digital media and into video gaming, licensing, merchandising, and the youth market.

Most recently SVP, Marketing & Creative for SCI FI, Stotsky joined the channel in the spring of 2001. He has been the recipient of numerous industry accolades including multiple awards from BDA, Cannes, Clio, D&AD, One Show, PROMAX and the channel's first-ever Gold Effie from the American Marketing Association for marketing effectiveness. In 2006, Advertising Age selected Stotsky as one of their "Marketing 50" for his innovations in marketing the channel's Peabody Award-winning franchise BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.
