As reported a week ago, Arnold Schwarzenegger planned to announce at MIPTV an animated project with Andy Heyward's A Squared and now EW reveals the details. As speculated, Schwarzenegger will partner with Stan Lee to transform himself into a superhero called The Governator.

The TERMINATOR star says the cartoon brings together all the elements of his persona. The story follows the former governor as he leaves office and decides to become a crimefighter with a secret high-tech base under his Brentwood home. And like any good superhero, he'll have a teenage sidekick named Zeke Muckerberg, the computer genius. The Governator will face off against the evil organization — Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons (aka G.I.R.L.I.E. Men).

Both a TV series and comic are due out in 2012.
