David Hackl, the production designer for the second through fourth SAW films and the director of the fifth, will return for the seventh entry in the horror series, reports VARIETY. Lionsgate has marked January as the beginning of production on the new film.
Producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules will once again return, as well as SAW IV, V, VI writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton.
