Sam Fell Joins Passion Pictures

Animated feature film director signed for worldwide commercials representation.

Passion Pictures announced that animated feature film director Sam Fell has signed to the company for worldwide commercials representation.  Fell has recently been nominated for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA as co-director of the animated feature ParaNorman.

Fell has directed three animated features, Flushed Away, for which he also created the original story (DreamWorks 2006), The Tales of Despereaux (Universal Pictures 2008) which he co-directed with Robert Stevenhagen, and ParaNorman (Focus Features/Universal Pictures 2012) with co-director Chris Butler.

Fell was nominated for an Annie Award,  a BAFTA and a Children's BAFTA for Flushed Away. Fell was also nominated for an Annie Award for The Tales of Despreaux

Before his feature career took off, Fell was a commercials director at Aardman where he also developed Rabbits! a TV series for young children and directed three episodes of the series Rex the Runt.
