Sakar Wins Race for Speed

Sakar International has scored a license to develop consumer electronics for Warner Bros.' hotly anticipated 2008 summer release SPEED RACER, reports KIDSCREEN. The New Jersey-based consumer electronics company will unveil the products at the Toy Fair in February. Among the items expected to be included are digital still and video cameras, alarm clocks, walkie-talkies, flashlights and MP3 players, with prices ranging from $5.00 to $80.00. The line will launch through major retail outlets to coincide with the film's May 9 release.
