Sébastien Moreau

Sébastien Moreau, President/VFX Supervisor/Founder, Rodeo FX , said, “While we are perhaps more well-known for our VFX contributions to the motion picture industry, we have also produced a good number of advertising campaigns since we opened our doors six years ago. Since this is a significant growth area for us, we decided that now was the right time to ‘formalize’ our work in this arena by officially opening an Advertising Division. Having been instrumental in creating and implementing many past advertising campaigns, including those for major advertisers, ranging from Disney Studios and Disney Cruise Lines to Budweiser, from GM to British Airways, and from Mini-Cooper to Madonna, we wanted to build on our portfolio, by making further inroads into the U.S. and international advertising communities.”

“Our new Advertising Division can meet the highest creative and technological standards possible with all of the visual effects capabilities required for any significant advertising campaign,” said Touchette. “From concept to matte paintings, and from pre-vis to 3D and compositing, we can handle every creative requirement to bring our clients’ campaigns to life. We’re delighted to welcome André to our company—a man who shares a passion for visual effects by constantly evolving his creative techniques and their related technologies. We’ve designed the new Ad Division to help our clients make the best use of their time and budgets, while concurrently presenting them with the highest levels of creative expertise available.”

“Rodeo FX is a very hi-end studio, and the talent here ensures that we can tackle any project, and deliver the magic. By using the Autodesk Premium Suite, which simultaneously integrates Smoke,  Flame and Lustre, we can deliver online, compositing and color correction -- all in one integrated single package, all in the same room -- eliminating the need to change rooms and book multiple sessions,” said  Montambeault. “The use of this one step process allows commercial advertising clients to view their color corrected commercials in context with sound, without having to wait for three separate processes to take place. This is a very efficient, and transparent, process and allows our clients to make their comments and revisions in real time. Our Ad Division offers the global advertising community a new and unique business model for online finishing.”
