Robots To Get Gigantor-Sized Promotional Push

20th Century Fox has announced multiple promotional partnerships for its upcoming animated feature ROBOTS, reports HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

Licensing deals include ones with Burger King, which will have ROBOTS-themed kids meal; Kelloggs-Keebler, with ROBOTS-themed packaging for several of its breakfast and snack products; and Verizon, with ROBOTS content on its video-on-demand service.

In addition, the U.S. Postal Service will release a custom ROBOTS-themed cancellation stamp. Kids Cuisine will offer a "Ro-Bucks" contest. Sunbeam Appliances will present ROBOTS on 4 million units of its branded products. America Online is direct mailing ROBOTS-themed CD-ROMs, featuring a game and desktop. Vivendi Universal Games is creating a ROBOTS videogame. Val-Pak will feature a ROBOTS sweepstakes. Cold Stone Creamery is creating a special flavor.

Other partners include Rayovac batteries, Kroger, Wal-Mart, Toys "R" Us, Home Depot, Borders, Barnes & Noble and Tower Records.

In addition, Fox also has forged alliances with Nickelodeon, the WB Network, Cartoon Network, HBO and Radio Disney.
